Munchicore is an offshoot from the cannibalism idea, first thought of by Someoneelse back at datv.com. It all started when datv was going down, and the mods disappeared, and a thread was made asking "where'd the mods go, where's all the power?". On the first page of that thread Someoneelse commented that she had found an arm, and I said that I had found a leg with a "25%" off sticker on it. From there we said we'd make a stew from the arm and leg, and the Cannibalism invasion of every thread on that board began. Originally it was an every man for himself concept, where we would enter threads and say that we take a bite out of [whoever].

However, it was Gottajet who coined the term 'munchkin' to describe the cannibals due to the fact that that was the name given to her by her husband/boyfriend (or something).

Over time the Cannibalism became a narrative, and the characters took on traits and exaggerations of our own attributes. It ceased to be Cannibalism when we were all at the beach, and a vat of concentrated Sulphuric Acid created a lake in which Ames White and his sidekick fell into. After a while of kicking their heads around, and chasing after them for the desire to eat them, probably in some kind of fondue, the evil season 2 DVDs soon appeared.

It is unknown as to how exactly the evil season 2 DVDs were brought into the story, but I theorise that there was a thread made about the DVD set which a few rogue members of the ?Cannibals invaded. From there the invaders of the thread would have gone over to the beach thread, and the concept of the evil season 2 DVDs was taken with them.

This marked the end of the Cannibalism, and all Munchkins banded together to fight off the evil season 2 DVDs under the organisation Munchicore, headed by Gottajet. ? ?

The Familiars, however, was more of Bastard's creation - although originally he was pretending to be Aimes White rather than Bastard.

It is safe to say then that Munchicore is clearly no longer required since we are no longer under any attack.

Nikki - with reference to the comments made by Marrow (he's my good friend really...) above...

The main problem with Munchicore is that, apart from the ubiquitous 'munchkin recruits' (you will see reference to these at various points) - who a re a form of cannon fodder - the other individuals who make up the infrastructure are the oddest collection of unruly so and sos you will ever encounter. To a (wo)man, they are wilfull, insubordinate, procrastinative, awkward and downright bloody minded. You will see that Someoneelse is supposed to be in command and that Gottajet is sort of her immediate subordinate - bu you will never see anyone ever take any notice of any commands they might issue.....

Marrow is usually off trying to pursue some scheme of his own - hardly surprsing as we believe him to be an alien clone of himself. He is probably part alien - or maybe contaminated by alien DNA - we ain't too sure - but, when pressed, we will admit that he is our resident techno genius...

Sniper is the resident psycho killer - the others usually look to him to come up with a plan or two - mainly so that they can blame him when things to tits up, which they usually do! He and Gottajet have a 'thing' - but, thank god, it has yet to burst into explicitness....

Spike is the happy go lucky playboy of the group. He is pretty much willing to try anything - especially if it involves fast cars and beautiful women. He sometimes has to act as a buffer between Sniper and Marrow... Of late, Max herself seems to have formed an attachment to Spike (god knows why...) - maybe he reminds her of a certain spikey haired technojournalist (peace, out...).

Read the 'Field Trip' thread and this will sort of give you an idea of the fun and games we get up to. Write yourself in if you want to - it's open to all.

Whatever - the most important thing about Munchicore is that it is here for your abuse - enjoy it as you will.

LOL sounds like fun, don't have that much of an understanding of all this "fun" so i'll check out that thread.
